Break Free

These days keep passing
And I try to hold onto my sanity, though
All these things are distracting me
I lose track of what keeps motivating me

So I look for the answers
In the folds of my bed sheets
I keep battling these invisible chains
That seem to keep holding me

And I'm so tired
Of these old fears
That I know so well
And I'm trying to find
Where my heart
Can grow

So let it be today
Break free today
All we have is today
So let's live today

I sometime feel these oceans
Of the past and the future surrounding me
Though, I'm still in motion
Thoughts of time and the outcomes are paralyzing me

So I look to the inside
Pulling out all this purposeless despair
I want to fuel all the fire in my soul
And fix the things that need repair

And I'm so tired
