Just like the poet wrote
In lines of love and words of tears

A sad story always known
Coming to haunt my dreams again

I wanna know the end
I want to bring light to this shadow
The more I try to forget
The more I feel the pain
The more I fear regret

Doubts and thoughts
Flowing through drops of ink
Enlightened by candles flames
A distorted image of what the future can be

When hope and lost collide
A point of hesitation
Brings down the built fortress
Collapse of the bravery
Once held in the chest

Travelling through time
Concepts fading
Minds are flowing
Breaking all the rules
