Like a wanderer, step after step
Dragging your stuff around
Kind of lunatic, it’s noon
Should find your friends soon
The old boulevard of broken dreams
Is exactly the way it seems
That avenue takes you nowhere
Just promises to make life seem fair

Then I learned

Years ago I had my dream in my hands
I wrote a book about the promised lands
Today I’m still looking for fame

An unusual voice
Is heard suddenly
There is no choice
But follow it rightly

Then somebody somewhere stops you
She smiles and gives you a hug
You don't know what you can do
Shameless, she offers you a drug

I've learned how to lose
And also how to win
There ain't no choose
The world is something we’re in

No noise but the sound of silence
Is what left of the balance
This breath we called living
Life has its own meaning

I didn't know how to handle it
My heart was broken
It had been stolen
But then I realized it

Then I learned
