Encased in frost a thousand million years ago
It lies beyond, asleep after centuries of lies
The place we've known will never be the same again
Tonight the swamp will freeze to awake the King out from his rest

Rise and fall, I heard the call
I'm coming on
As there is no golden light to lead me home
This time
Under these bleeding stars I'm torn
But I'm still going on
Maybe I will find a place where I belong

Winterfall, the darkest bond
Death from above
Falling from the sky it paralyzed it all
As I recall so far
The Northern Star was leading on
It doesn't shine anymore

During this Winter rain

From the Eternal Flame
Shining for us
As the Starlight's
High in the sky

Winter will cover the land
Breaking our distant mortality

Leaving beyond this reality

The Moon will spread the seeds of doubt
Its pale reflection above the pounds

To turn to flesh the spirit
Where the ashes merge with the ground
