How sometimes it can be easy to get caught up
In the glitz and the glamour of being
The country music superstar, trademark pending
But y’all best believe that sometimes
Even the superstar life ain’t all it’s chalked up to be
Let’s just say that life ain’t always a bunch of ballads and waltzes
And you won’t always wind up with the best bull in the chute
But one thing you can do
It’s always good to tell someone you love them

And sometimes life will throw you a curveball
Like just because you recorded some instant country classics
Don’t necessarily mean they’ll wind up being multi-platinum hits
