I am free and I am a limit, both at the same time
I want to decide everything, yet I depend on time
On the body, on history, on those around me
No one is an island, no one chooses their own pain alone

They wanted a simple answer, black or white
But I live in the gray, in the middle, in the astonishment
Of being at once circumstance and will
Prisoner and architect of my own freedom

There is no purity in this equation
There is no choice without carrying the other in hand
Being free isn't running away from everything that limits me
It's choosing within what life has already defined

Ambiguous I am two at war within the same chest
Ambiguous not everything is a choice, not everything is done
There is no freedom on its own
My freedom goes through yours too

If I free myself by stepping on those beside me
My freedom has become just another sin
To be truly free is to make room for another being
It's not about taking over the whole world, it's about learning to share and live

It's not weakness to acknowledge what's inside me
It's not strength to pretend that nothing ever weighs me down
Ambiguity isn't indecision it's the naked truth
Of those who live between what they want and what life keeps bringing
