As Winter Claims My Soul

Cold air bites the throat
Every step is in pain
We will not survive
This harsh cold winter night

The forest is freezing
The trees cold and tall
Stammering the frozen path
Winter claims my soul

As the snow continues to fall
I slip into a freezing sorrow
No doubt delay or decay
We will all fade to grey

The forest fills with my painful scream
Everything is utterly cold
But alas we are strong
Now we see the light
