Thankfully there is mercy
Or I would have been dead long ago
Rotting and burning, left to die alone
Yet from before the foundations, You set Your calling
Behold, when I make my bed in hell, You are there

As it is true that You reign on high
I have royally screwed yo in my life
And I suffer a contrite heart every time
I think the thought that when I spit in Your face
You still hand down even more grace

I now laugh at death and live life renewed
Live people, and rejoice in truth because
There is no condemnation for those who trust in You
I don't look to my lack of fancy papers
And stacks of bills, or my past because
There is a future for those who trust in You

Hey! How great You are!
That I failed You so miserably
And still You say that I'm a man after Your own heart

Hell is real
Fall on the Rock that is Christ
And let Him change your life

I will respect what you believe
But I will never give it credibility
Only Christ can save you

'Cause apart from the Lamb
We are all just sinners in God's angry hands
Who can save us?
All of us, everyone, we bear the blood of
Our sin on our hands, who can change it?
If only innocent blood can wash it off?
