The Tightrope

I walk blind on this tight rope
No net below
The world waits for me all alone to fall
But i'm never gonna fall i will not be torn
From this line i walk
Never gonna fall
From beyond these words
I do not feel remorse for those i've left behind
Their words can't divorce me from this line
From this line i will never be shaken
I will not divide
Many have and many will try but all in vain
I feel their stares, i feel their cold
But i will not faulter
This is all i've ever had
You'll never prise it from my hands

I will stay focused
They won't destroy every part of me
I must dig deeper to prevent my fall
Why are they so cruel?
Why are they so cold?
So you see, i must try to stay true and i still hope to stay stronger

Against all their hate i stand here alone

They will me to step away
Trade, fail, fade, succumb
But i will never change, not for you
I will not live life by the sidelines
