We're together all the time
but i never knew the truth
we talked for hours about everything
and you left me without a doubt that
the truth had come out

that was all a lie
i was fooled
lost in the memories
of what i thought we had

just couldn't believe the story
thought we were more than that
all the ruined relationships gone wrong,
this one was supposted to last
never ready never wanted

she thinks theres someone better
can't buy into that
but life goes on
