He walks from the fields
Quiet in his stride
But desire
Is a storm that whispers only her name

By day, he says nothing
Hands in soil, soul hidden deep
But at night, when she calls
The beast awakes from sleep

He sows
He reaps
But craves a different fruit
In her gaze, he escapes

She touches
He burns

She leads

She bites

He lives in shadows, walks in peace
But with her glance, he is unleashed
The beast stays calm until she nears
Then the simple man, disappears

He takes flight

He howls
She rules

Through skin

Through fire
Through salt
He cries out her name
In a beastly vault

When the Sun returns
He'll go silent once more
