One Drink

Sometimes I like to play pretend this world is on it's final day's of end
The human race has raised its hand and said it's when
How am I going to spend the last of it, I wish this pen could capture it
These dreams are so damn inaccurate

I lack the passion it could take to make it real, my fate is sealed
That's why I drink my meals to feel alive, inside the monster wants to die
A hole to fill consumed of lies, no drink or snort nor smoke will paralyze
They speak to me like they know me, when I don't even know my self

Nothing brings joy anymore there's dust inside my mouth
There's a hole inside my heart that I can fill with no amount
One drink they say, is all it takes, to wash away, all the pain
Too much they say and you'll lose more than you can regain

This is the box you live in
This is the box you die
This is the box they put you in to tell you your lifes a lie
This is the box you fit in
This is the box you hide
This little box forbidden, to make sure your dreams never reach for the sky
