I'm resigned to my fate
The red from my flares is no longer there in the sky
Say goodbye
Tried to turn a little late

Now in slow motion
I watch as the ocean comes in

I know that I'm sinking slowly
But the water's kind of nice
When your heart's already ice

Now it's up to my knees
When I kneel to pray
The fish swim away from my room
They'll own it soon

There's a strange kind of peace
As what's left of my life
Finally dives under waves
To a watery grave

I tried to sail beyond my sorrow
But the pain just stowed away

Sometimes bad things happen to good people
That's what my friends said, but this was evil
An Armageddon of my whole world
Who could let fall an earthen angel?
